About the role#
Motorola Solutions is seeking a Software Engineering Co-Op to join the Access Control Division. This role focuses on supporting a fleet of thousands of IoT devices by improving operational excellence and expanding customer-facing products. You will work on developing tools that assist engineers in releasing, verifying, and tracking software changes across a global infrastructure.
What you'll do#
- Automate verification processes to analyze software releases and measure their impact on operational performance.
- Integrate AI services to automate the software lifecycle and coordinate between engineering, test, and release teams.
- Create and extend tools for gathering key metrics.
- Ensure developed tools operate smoothly at scale.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor's degree with a graduation date of December 2026 or later.
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with Go, or a strong interest in learning Go.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
- A basic understanding of unit tests and testing frameworks.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Majors in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or Mathematics.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely, as sponsorship is not available.

- This is a remote, full-time, paid position.
- The role follows a rolling term.
