Data Analyst Co-Op

About the role#

As a Data Analyst Co-Op, you will support internal teams by developing data-driven solutions and analyzing datasets. This role focuses on learning how to translate data insights into business value while assisting with the maintenance and integrity of data systems.

What you'll do#

• Assist in conducting data analysis from multiple sources and presenting findings to various audiences.
• Identify data dependencies between systems and conduct validation checks to verify data integrity.
• Support data mapping, cleansing, and transformation processes to ensure system consistency.
• Document data workflows, schemas, and mapping rules to facilitate team knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to achieve business objectives and identify opportunities for workflow optimization.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field at a Canadian university, with a graduation date of December 2026 or later.
• Solid foundational knowledge of SQL for data manipulation, extraction, and analysis.
• Familiarity with Python, specifically for data manipulation and automation tasks.
• Hands-on experience creating dashboards and reports using tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Strong understanding of core data modeling concepts and data migration methodologies.
• Proven ability to work independently on assigned tasks while collaborating effectively within a team.
