About the role#
The Presales Business Manager intern supports the development and implementation of presale processes for public safety solutions. You will work within the NA Enterprise Sales Business Development and Engineering Group, which manages the costing, technology, and design for sales support engagements. This role involves guiding projects from the initial identification of an opportunity through to the transition to the post-sale team.
What you'll do#
- Coordinate departmental and cross-functional teams to deliver accurate and timely proposals.
- Ensure projects meet all requirements and stay on schedule.
- Identify upcoming opportunities and evaluate project requirements.
- Define specific statements of work and produce detailed project schedules.
- Develop business plans, strategies, and approaches for new opportunities.
- Assist with time-saving AI initiatives.
- Ensure proposed customer solutions utilize the best possible strategy.
What you'll need#
- A High School Diploma.
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program with an expected graduation date on or after December 2027.
- Commitment to return to school in the Fall of 2027.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex topics to non-technical audiences.
- A self-motivated approach and the ability to maintain focus in a pressured environment.
- Previous experience working with customers is helpful.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship.
- The role follows a hybrid work model.
- Locations include Allen, Texas and Dallas, Texas.
- Travel requirements are under 10%.
