Join the electrical engineering team to design and develop next-generation sensor systems for autonomous farming robots. This role focuses on the full hardware development cycle, from initial circuit architecture and PCB design to integrating autonomous vehicle hardware like LiDAR, cameras, GPS, and IMUs. You will work on production-ready sensor kits deployed to customers, handling everything from prototyping and firmware development to field testing in real-world environments.
What you'll do#
- Own electrical architecture decisions, component selection, and PCB layout.
- Design and iterate on sensor integrated systems from concept to production.
- Collaborate with mechanical, perception, and robotics teams to optimize hardware-software integration.
- Manage relationships with manufacturing partners and component suppliers.
- Lead design reviews internally and externally with suppliers and partners.
What you'll need#
- Strong systems architecture capability, including the ability to define the full electrical stack.
- Deep PCB design experience, including schematics, high-speed routing, and power integrity.
- Experience designing power systems, including DC-DC regulation, battery integration, and EMI considerations.
- Firmware proficiency in C/C++ for board bring-up and peripheral integration.
- Experience integrating autonomous system hardware such as LiDAR, cameras, GPS, and IMUs.
- Experience working with manufacturers on DFM reviews, sourcing, and production test strategy.
- Pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Science.
