About the role#
The Technology Summer Analyst Program is a 14-week internship based in Calgary. You will join a specific development team to work on real projects. The program includes an induction session, networking events with senior management, and team-building activities. This is a full-time, paid position.
What you'll do#
- Design, develop, and maintain applications for various business units.
- Meet with clients to gather and analyze technical requirements.
- Make system design decisions and evaluate or integrate software solutions.
- Test and deploy applications to production environments.
- Build high-performing, low-latency electronic trading systems.
- Evolve complex workflows and life-cycle management capabilities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelors or Masters program for Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher.
- Competency in at least one programming language such as C, C++, Python, Scala, Java, or C#.
- Experience with object-oriented development.
- A strong understanding of Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems.
- Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and complexity theory.
- Database and scripting skills.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork abilities.

- Location: Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
- Term: Summer 2027 (14 weeks, May to August).
- Work modality: On-site.
