TAP Summer Associate

About the role#

The Trial Associate Program (TAP) is a summer internship designed to provide aspiring trial lawyers with training, resources, and mentorship. This program focuses on professional development and hands-on experience in trial advocacy, offering a pathway toward full-time employment for successful participants.

What you'll do#

• Learn directly from trial attorneys and receive 1:1 formal mentorship from a Firm Partner.
• Participate in weekly litigation training courses covering depositions, motion practice, expert discovery, mediation, and trial preparation.
• Gain experience in trial preparation and attend a jury trial during the summer.
• Engage with firm leadership through office hours with premier national Trial Counsel.
• Assist in developing data-informed solutions to support client service.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment at a top law school with an anticipated graduation year of 2028.
• Strong academic credentials and excellent communication skills.
• A demonstrated interest in trial advocacy.
• A commitment to providing high-quality client service.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Relevant academic background in fields such as Political Science, Criminal Justice, Communications, English, Business Administration, History, Philosophy, or Psychology.
