About the role#
MIRATECH is seeking an IT Intern to support daily technology operations. This role provides practical experience in an enterprise environment while you work under the guidance of our IT team. You will assist with end-user support, device deployment, and various technology projects, all while following established security and data-handling practices.
What you'll do#
- Provide first-level assistance for hardware, software, account, printing, and connectivity issues.
- Prepare, configure, deploy, and recover Windows 11 computers and peripherals.
- Maintain accurate hardware and software inventory records.
- Support onboarding and offboarding activities, including equipment preparation and device returns.
- Assist with Microsoft 365 and other approved business applications.
- Document troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and standard operating procedures.
- Participate in IT projects, testing, audits, and process-improvement initiatives.
- Protect confidential information and follow cybersecurity, safety, and change-management requirements.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an associate or bachelor's degree in information technology, computer information systems, cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Foundational knowledge of Windows, computer hardware, networking concepts, and Microsoft 365.
- Ability to gather information, follow procedures, test solutions, and escalate issues.
- Clear, professional communication skills for both technical and nontechnical users.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Responsibility in handling company information within assigned access levels.
- Prior professional IT experience is not required; relevant coursework, labs, projects, or customer service experience is welcome.
- Hands-on experience with Windows 11, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Intune, or ticketing platforms is a plus.
- Familiarity with PowerShell, device imaging, basic network troubleshooting, or IT asset management.
- A customer-focused mindset, curiosity, and a willingness to learn from feedback.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027.
- The position is located on-site in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
- You must have authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
