About the role#
MIRATECH is looking for an HR Intern to join our team for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position based in Tulsa, Oklahoma. You will report to the VP of HR and work across all departments to support our daily business operations.
What you'll do#
- Assist with recruitment tasks like posting jobs, reviewing resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Help with employee onboarding, including new hire orientation and paperwork.
- Perform HRIS data entry and maintain physical HR files.
- Manage the HR voicemail box and conduct employment verifications for current and former staff.
- Generate employment verification letters and archive outdated records.
- Support HR with IT tasks, legal situations, and general office management.
- Contribute to our work culture and participate in various HR projects.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- You have an interest in employment law, compliance, benefits, and payroll.
- You are proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- You possess strong data entry skills and are highly detail-oriented.
- You have excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize your work.
- You communicate clearly and effectively, both in writing and verbally.
