About the role#
Mid-Ohio Food Collective is seeking an Accounting & Finance Intern to support our financial operations in Grove City, Ohio. You will work alongside our team to gain hands-on experience in nonprofit financial management. This role involves a variety of tasks that contribute to our daily financial health and organizational mission.
What you'll do#
- Support financial operations within the department.
- Process donations to ensure accurate funding records.
- Assist with payables.
- Perform reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy.
- Create and generate financial reports to provide insights into our activities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university.
- A major in Accounting or Finance.
- A solid foundation in accounting principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and tools.
- Attention to detail and effective communication skills.

Location & details#
- This position is located on-site in Grove City, Ohio.
- The internship is a paid, part-time role.
- We require a minimum commitment of 15 hours per week during the school year.
- This is a rolling term position.
