About the role#
As a Data Science Intern, you will join the engineering team to work on artificial intelligence and machine learning initiatives. You will contribute to projects that support product development and optimization while gaining experience through mentorship with industry experts.
What you'll do#
- Build and apply AI and ML solutions to support product development, validation, and optimization.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to identify domain challenges and develop advanced data analysis methods.
- Apply emerging data science techniques to solve complex problems.
- Engage in mentorship and learning opportunities with industry experts.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Knowledge of predictive modeling, statistics, regression analysis, and deep learning gained through coursework.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or R.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Experience developing and deploying data science solutions, including data engineering, ML algorithms, UI/UX, and ML Ops.
- Familiarity with Large Language Models, including fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and performance evaluation.
- Understanding of agentic AI systems for autonomous workflows and task orchestration.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship.
- The role is based on-site in San Jose, California, or Folsom, California.
- The hourly pay range is $36.55 to $55.82.
