Co-op, Construction Services

About the role#

Michael Baker International is seeking a full-time Co-Op to join the Construction Services practice. This role provides an opportunity to work under the supervision of experienced construction managers, supporting technical duties and daily project activities while receiving mentorship. The position involves a mix of office-based administrative tasks and field visits to project sites for investigation and observation.

What you'll do#

• Prepare correspondence and perform daily reporting.
• Assist with construction documents, plan production, maps, and basic reports.
• Perform analysis, calculations, and develop quantities for cost estimating.
• Gather background information for project sites, including reviewing as-built plans and mapping utility services.
• Visit project sites for general inspection and observation, reporting findings to engineers and project managers.
• Assist with the preparation for client meetings and attend internal project meetings.

What you'll need#

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Construction Engineering, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Architecture, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of completed college-level coursework.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
