About the role#
Metropolitan Commercial Bank is currently undergoing a multiyear technology upgrade initiative called Modern Banking in Motion. As a Quality Assurance Intern, you will assist our business units in testing new applications to ensure they function as expected before they go live. You will report to the VP of Digital Transformation and gain direct experience with our core banking systems.
What you'll do#
- Work with experienced quality assurance analysts to create and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile applications using Testim.
- Build a regression automated test suite by automating steps in Testim.
- Manage test cases, plans, and results within Jira while following standard documentation practices.
- Run automated tests, analyze the results, and report any identified defects using Jira or our vendor ticketing system.
What you'll need#
- A high school diploma with Computer Science coursework or a college degree in Computer Science.
- Strong attention to detail and clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
- A desire to learn how technological systems and AI can improve your work.

- This is a full-time, paid internship based on-site in New York, New York.
- The position follows a rolling term.
