About the role#
This preceptorship offers nursing students a chance to gain experience in a school setting. You will work as a volunteer to observe and support the daily operations of a Health Office within Mesa Public Schools.
What you'll do#
- Partner with a Mentor Nurse to assist with Health Office tasks.
- Support student skill development in line with the MPS Portrait of a Graduate.
- Follow professional dress and behavior standards.
- Maintain consistent attendance and notify staff if you are absent.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in college nursing courses.
- A completed MPS Field Experience Agreement.
- A valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card from the Arizona Department of Public Safety or completion of the background check process through the MPS Volunteer Office.
