About the role#
This is a part-time, paid internship for students pursuing a career in respiratory therapy. You will work on-site at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City. The position has a rolling start date.
What you'll do#
- Provide direct patient care related to respiratory therapy.
- Follow specific physician orders for patient treatment.
- Work under the direct guidance and supervision of a licensed respiratory care practitioner.
- Carry out all duties in alignment with Mercy service standards.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment in an accredited respiratory care school.
- A current Temporary Educational Permit (Respiratory Student License) issued by the state board.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
