About the role#
The Marketing Intern supports the marketing department with daily advertising and promotional tasks. You will assist with administrative duties, prepare presentations, and help manage our customer relationship management systems. This role involves coordination with vendors and internal teams to support our field sales operations.
What you'll do#
- Prioritize personal safety and the safety of your team members at all times.
- Assist with the design and execution of social media campaigns.
- Create weekly and monthly editorial calendars.
- Track social media engagement to identify effective campaign ideas.
- Prepare promotional presentations and distribute marketing materials.
- Support the team at live and online events.
- Coordinate the delivery of materials to field sales staff.
- Follow up with vendors regarding shipping and payment verification.
- Assist the Marketing Manager with internal and external communications.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Marketing degree program at a 2- or 4-year college.
- Mastery of major social media platforms, including Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, and Google+.
- Familiarity with analytics tools like Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, and Twitter Analytics.
- Experience using content management systems, word processors, and image or video editing software.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize time effectively.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
