About the role#
McLeod Health is hiring a Radiologic Technologist Extern for a paid, part-time position in Myrtle Beach. This role is on-site and follows a rolling term, offering students in Biomedical Sciences or Public Health the chance to gain clinical experience.
What you'll do#
You will help technologists prepare patients and exam rooms. Your duties include observing and assisting with imaging procedures, keeping supply inventories stocked, and maintaining a clean workspace. You must follow all safety and confidentiality standards at all times.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in or completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Current BLS Certification.
- Technical knowledge of imaging equipment and procedures.
- Strong communication and patient care skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
