What you'll do#
As a Nurse Extern, you will work under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse. Your primary goal is to assist with patient care and maintain a secure environment.
- Perform patient care duties including bathing, feeding, dressing, transporting, and grooming.
- Obtain patient vitals.
- Conduct hourly rounds to check on patient well-being.
- Create a comforting environment for patients and their visitors.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Nursing program.
- Successful completion of a Nursing Fundamentals course.
- Current Basic Life Support certification.
