About the role#
This internship supports the finance group at McDermott International. You will work closely with teams across corporate accounting and financial reporting. This is an entry-level position designed to help you build basic skills through routine tasks and ad hoc projects.
What you'll do#
- Support daily operations by handling administrative duties, data entry, scheduling, and organizing materials.
- Conduct research and analysis on assigned projects, gathering data and presenting your findings clearly.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share ideas and support ongoing work.
- Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing projects to meet deadlines.
- Attend team meetings, take notes, and summarize action points.
- Create, edit, and format various documents, reports, and presentations.
- Manage email and phone inquiries in a professional manner.
- Help maintain a collaborative team environment.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or recent completion of a degree or diploma program, preferably in Finance or Accounting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage your time effectively.
- A proactive approach to solving problems and learning new concepts.
- Proficiency with standard office software and the ability to learn new digital tools quickly.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
