About the role#
The McAdams Internship Program offers students the chance to work with professionals across our core service areas. You will gain exposure to the full project lifecycle, from early conceptual design to final deliverables. This role involves contributing to work that supports our clients and communities.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with team members to support real project deliverables.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and team meetings to help shape project direction.
- Gain hands-on experience with industry tools, workflows, and best practices.
- Shadow mentors and team leaders to understand project planning, design, and execution.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a degree program related to civil engineering, geomatics, environmental science, landscape architecture, planning, construction management, or an aligned field.
- Strong communication and organization skills to manage tasks and support project teams.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Curiosity and initiative to learn and grow.
Location & details#
- Location: Lewisville, Texas.
- Work modality: On-site.
- This is a paid, full-time internship with a rolling term.
- Work occurs primarily in an office setting. You may occasionally need to lift up to 30 pounds, and evening, weekend, or travel requirements may arise.
