About the role#
The Healthcare Administrative Graduate Internship provides students with practical field experience within a clinical environment. You will work under the guidance of assigned mentors who provide instruction, performance feedback, and support throughout the summer term. This program is a full-time, paid opportunity designed to help you apply your academic knowledge to real-world healthcare operations.
What you'll do#
- Observe the daily functions and processes of your assigned work unit.
- Manage specific projects and conduct data analysis to support unit goals.
- Participate in benchmarking activities.
- Complete all required reports for both the organization and your university.
- Deliver a final presentation reflecting on your internship experience.
- Engage with the intern cohort through mentorship, site visits, and educational sessions.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a 2-year master's or graduate degree program in Health Administration or Business Administration.
- Current attendance in in-person classes.
- Completion of most graduate coursework prior to the internship.
- A degree program that requires or offers credit for an internship.
- Authorization to work in the United States (sponsorship is not available).
