About the role#
Maxwell Locke & Ritter LLP is hiring for a Transaction Advisory Internship in Austin, Texas. This internship runs from mid February to mid April 2028. You will work on-site for 15 to 40 hours per week. This is a paid position.
What you'll do#
As an intern, you will join buy-side and sell-side deal teams. You will use Excel to compile and analyze financial data from target companies. Your work involves identifying potential issues that impact investment decisions. You will also take part in discussions with key executives and contribute to executive management meetings.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accounting degree program
- Completion of Intermediate Financial Accounting I
- A minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work on-site in Austin
- Relevant internship experience in transaction advisory, audit, finance, investment banking, or private equity is preferred

This role is located in downtown Austin, Texas. It is an on-site position for the winter 2028 term.
