About the role#
Mauldin & Jenkins is hiring a Marketing Intern to join our team in Metairie, Louisiana. This is a paid, full-time, on-site position with a rolling start date. You will work directly with our marketing staff to support firm operations, business development, and digital outreach.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with the marketing team on daily tasks and projects.
- Handle word processing, including typing, editing, and formatting documents.
- Proofread materials to ensure clear communication.
- Help produce quarterly reports and assist with proposal and presentation coordination.
- Support business development efforts through tasks like preparing placemats.
- Manage promotional product requests.
- Contribute to social media strategies and campaigns.
- Assist with Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and website analytics.
- Conduct market research and perform data entry.
- Learn and use various digital marketing software tools while building your knowledge of our brand.
What you'll need#
- Experience in digital marketing and social media.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- A self-starter mindset with a flexible and curious approach.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills to meet project deadlines.
- Excellent time management and the ability to prioritize your workflow.
- A positive attitude, determination, and humility.
- Enrollment in a Marketing, Communications, or Business Administration program.
