About the role#
Magnolia Gardens Nursery offers a 10 week internship program for students interested in wholesale nursery production. This is a paid, full-time position based on-site in Waller, Texas. You will rotate through each department to learn the entire value chain, from sales forecasting to product delivery. You will also work on a specialized project with an assigned mentor.
What you'll do#
- Gain advanced knowledge of Container Production and Tissue Culture Propagation.
- Develop business acumen through exposure to financial reporting, gross margin analysis, and profitability metrics.
- Complete a specialized project in areas such as pest management, irrigation, herbicide management, propagation techniques, or sales and operations planning.
- Work alongside professionals to develop task efficiency and learn new product development processes.

- Junior or Senior student status.
- Major in Horticulture, Soil Science, or Agriculture Business.
