About the role#

The 2027 Corporate Summer Internship Program in Accounting offers a 10-week experience focused on professional development and skill building. Interns contribute to department projects and initiatives while gaining exposure to industry leaders and guest speakers. This program provides a network of peers and serves as a pipeline for future full-time opportunities within the bank.

What you'll do#

• Perform entry-level professional duties specific to your assigned accounting area.
• Ensure all activities comply with internal policies and external regulations.
• Follow the company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies, and controls.
• Identify and escalate risk-related issues to management.
• Design, implement, and maintain internal controls to mitigate risk.
• Support an inclusive environment that reflects the brand.
• Address internal and external audit points as required.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program, specifically in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated computer and analytical skills.
• Critical thinking, organizational, and detail-oriented abilities.

• Locations: Buffalo, NY; Baltimore, MD; Boston, MA; Wilmington, DE; New York, NY; Bridgeport, CT.
• Term: Summer 2027.
• Modality: On-site, full-time.
• Compensation: Paid position ($18.00 - $28.00 per hour, depending on location and experience).
