About the role#
This internship focuses on retail branch operations in Winston Salem. You will assist the team with daily banking tasks and support customers with their consumer banking needs. This is a full-time, paid position.
What you'll do#
- Organize and balance your cash drawer throughout the day.
- Process customer transactions like deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing while following bank policies.
- Assist customers with account maintenance, inquiries, and support for online or mobile banking.
- Maintain customer confidentiality and follow all security procedures for branch operations.
- Protect bank assets and documents during opening and closing routines.
- Handle complex customer service issues using sound judgment.
- Identify opportunities to sell or cross-sell bank products and services.
- Comply with the Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering policies, and other corporate regulations.
- Build positive relationships with customers and coworkers.
