About the role#
The Branch Operations Intern assists with daily activities at our Charlotte branch. You will support customers with their banking needs, including deposits, withdrawals, account maintenance, and inquiries. You will also help customers navigate our online and mobile banking platforms.
What you'll do#
- Organize and balance your cash drawer while following cash limit policies.
- Process transactions such as check cashing, tax payments, and cash advances.
- Maintain customer confidentiality and follow all bank security procedures.
- Protect bank assets and follow branch open and close protocols.
- Provide customer service and resolve service issues using sound judgment.
- Identify opportunities to sell and cross-sell bank products and services.
- Adhere to the Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering, and OFAC policies.
- Build positive relationships with customers and coworkers.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a college program related to Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
- A professional approach to handling complex customer transactions.
- Knowledge of bank products and services.
