Victory Lap Social Media & Events Summer Intern - Sports & Hospitality

About the role#

This internship focuses on the intersection of social media content creation and event management for Victory Lap in Columbus. You will be responsible for capturing the energy of the brand, managing digital community engagement, and supporting on-the-ground event logistics. This is a full-time, paid role designed for students who are active on campus and passionate about the hospitality and nightlife industry.

What you'll do#

• Create, design, and manage engaging content for Instagram, including capturing real-time photos and videos.
• Build and maintain monthly content calendars to organize scheduling and posting.
• Serve as a representative at events, pop-ups, and activations to ensure smooth logistics and gather community feedback.
• Edit content using tools such as CapCut, Canva, and Instagram’s creative features.
• Foster an authentic digital community by managing DMs, comments, and messages.
• Support the planning and execution of high-energy campus events and activations.
• Track marketing metrics, including follower growth, engagement rates, and event attendance.
• Collaborate with onsite staff to align on branding and promotional efforts.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, Public Relations, or a related field at Ohio State University.
• Proficiency in iPhone photography and video editing, with experience using CapCut or Adobe Premiere.
• Experience using Canva for graphic design.
• Strong understanding of Instagram and TikTok trends and formats.
• Passion for the food, beverage, and hospitality industry.
• Ability to work independently as a self-starter with excellent time management skills.
• Comfort engaging with new people both online and in person.
• Flexibility to work outside of regular business hours, including evenings and weekends.

• Term: Summer 2026 (May 2026 – August 2026).
• Modality: On-site.
• Commitment: Full-time (approximately 40 hours per week).
