About the role#
This internship offers the chance to work alongside our Geologists and Mining Engineering team. You will support projects that connect your academic studies to our actual operations and company practices. Work may take place at our local sites or at locations in Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, or Georgia.
What you'll do#
- Take part in onsite projects assigned by the Geology and Mining Engineering teams.
- Complete your assigned tasks with a high level of detail and quality.
- Ask for feedback and coaching from your supervisors and teammates.
- Prepare and deliver an end-of-summer presentation that summarizes your experience and what you learned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an advanced degree program in Geology or a related field.

- The role is based in Manakin Sabot, Virginia.
- This is a full-time, paid internship.
- The term runs from June 1, 2027, through the first week of August 2027.
- This position is on-site.
