About the role#
The Lorenz Clinic offers a two-year, full-time Post-Master's Fellowship for pre-licensed clinicians pursuing LICSW, LMFT, or LPCC licensure in Minnesota. This program is designed for clinicians who want a developmental experience rather than a focus on high-volume billing. We prioritize clinical formation, case conceptualization, and relational work over productivity targets. Fellows join an intentional, interprofessional cohort to train in systemic and developmentally informed psychotherapy.
What you'll do#
- Provide psychotherapeutic services to a variety of clients under direct supervision.
- Manage an active caseload of approximately 12 to 18 clients, built gradually during the start of the fellowship.
- Participate in 8 hours of supervision per month, split between a doctorally prepared psychologist and a professional supervisor.
- Attend a monthly full-day PMF seminar, a weekly didactic seminar, monthly grand rounds, and monthly case consultation sessions.
- Engage actively with supervisors and peers to shape your clinical development and case formulation skills.
What you'll need#
- A Master's degree in psychology, clinical counseling, marriage and family therapy, social work, or a closely related field.
- Successful completion of a clinically focused master's-level practicum or internship that included diagnosis, treatment planning, and ongoing therapeutic work.
- A minimum of 9 to 12 months of completed master's-level practicum experience where outpatient psychotherapy was the primary focus.
- A declared licensure track for LICSW, LMFT, or LPCC in Minnesota.
- Social work track applicants must hold a current, non-provisional LGSW before the start date.
- A required cover letter must be submitted with your application.
