About the role#
This part-time position offers pharmacy students practical experience within a community pharmacy setting. You will contribute to a growing Health & Wellness philosophy that integrates pharmacy, dietitian, medical, and optical services. The role is designed to prepare future pharmacists for success by providing real-world training that complements academic studies.
What you'll do#
- Provide practical experience in a community pharmacy environment.
- Support the delivery of an exceptional experience for pharmacy customers.
- Enhance your knowledge of OTC products, disease state management, drug therapy, and patient counseling.
- Develop skills necessary to manage a retail pharmacy.
- Improve communication skills while interacting with patients, staff, and other healthcare professionals.
- Learn about the expanding roles of community pharmacists.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Pharmaceutical Sciences program.
- Candidates 18 years of age or older must complete a criminal background check.

- Location: Pickering, Ontario.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour (unionized position).
