About the role#
This is a full-time, paid Pharmacy Student position based in Toronto, Ontario. The role involves working on-site to support pharmacy operations through automation, inventory management, and prescription processing.
What you'll do#
- Generate automation reports using Kroll pharmacy management software.
- Package medications into unit dose pouches using the automation machine.
- Manage automation workflows to meet established targets and schedules.
- Maintain pharmacy inventory at pre-specified minimum stock levels.
- Place orders for pharmacy supplies and specialty items as needed.
- Assist with inventory counts and manage drug recalls.
- Follow step-by-step workflow processes to prepare packages for shipment.
- Label medications, prepare blister packs, and assist with medication mixtures.
- Investigate and troubleshoot orders to ensure timely shipping.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in Pharmaceutical Sciences or Nursing programs.
- Previous experience with Kroll software.
- Experience in a Long Term Care pharmacy setting.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to manoeuvre quickly and consistently for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work in different departments to support workflow.

- Salary Range: $20.90 - $28.60 per hour.
- Requirements: Candidates 18 years or older must complete a criminal background check.
