About the role#

Loblaw Companies Limited is seeking a Pharmacy Student for an on-site, full-time position in Toronto, Ontario. This role involves supporting pharmacy operations through automation, inventory management, and prescription preparation.

What you'll do#

• Generate automation reports using Kroll pharmacy management software.
• Package medications into unit dose pouches using automation machinery and perform necessary maintenance.
• Manage automation workflows to meet established targets and schedules.
• Maintain pharmacy inventory at pre-specified minimum stock levels, including placing orders for supplies and assisting with inventory counts.
• Process drug recalls and coordinate alternatives when products are unavailable.
• Follow step-by-step workflows to prepare packages for shipment and troubleshoot orders to ensure timely delivery.
• Prepare medication orders, label products, and create blister packs and mixtures using Kroll software.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a post-secondary program, specifically in Pharmaceutical Sciences or Nursing.
• Previous experience with Kroll software and Long Term Care pharmacy environments.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to solve problems and make independent decisions.
• Ability to manoeuvre quickly and consistently for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work in different departments to support overall workflow.

• Location: 2877 Bayview Ave, Toronto, ON.
• Work Modality: On-site.
• Term: Rolling.
• Compensation: $20.90 – $28.60 per hour, based on experience and knowledge.
• Note: Candidates 18 years or older are required to complete a criminal background check.
