About the role#
This is a full-time, paid Pharmacy Student position based in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The role involves supporting pharmacy operations through automated medication packaging and inventory management. This is an on-site position with a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Generate automation reports using Kroll pharmacy management software.
- Package medications into unit dose pouches using automation machinery.
- Maintain pharmacy inventory at pre-specified minimum stock levels.
- Follow step-by-step workflows to prepare medication orders for patients.
- Label medications, over-the-counter products, and prepare blister packs.
- Perform machine maintenance, troubleshooting, and manage workflow targets.
- Assist with inventory counts and process drug recalls.
What you'll need#
- Post-secondary education in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Nursing, or Health Administration.
- Positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to problem solve.
- Ability to maneuver quickly and consistently for extended periods.
- Experience with Healthwatch software is preferred.
- Pharmacy experience within a long-term care setting is an asset.

- Location: 550 Kenaston Blvd, Winnipeg, MB.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $20.90 to $28.60 per hour, based on experience and knowledge.
- Requirement: Candidates 18 years or older must complete a criminal background check.
