About the role#
Little League International is hiring a Video Intern for the summer of 2027. This role is based at our headquarters in South Williamsport, Pennsylvania. You will work with our digital media team to support video production efforts, including the Little League Baseball World Series in mid-August. This is a paid, full-time internship running from May through August. You will work up to 35 hours per week, typically Monday through Friday. Acceptance is contingent upon successful completion of background checks.
What you'll do#
- Shoot and edit content for digital platforms and the video board.
- Assist with pre-production, post-production, and on-site tasks.
- Create still and animated graphics for social media and video projects.
- Produce new content using current and archive broadcast footage.
- Upload, tag, and publish video clips.
- Spot-check videos to ensure proper functionality and performance.
- Handle other video, digital media, or communications tasks as needed.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Film, Video, Broadcast Journalism, Media Production, or a related field.
- Familiarity with baseball and softball rules and gameplay.
- Working knowledge of DSLR and Cinema cameras, microphones, and handheld audio recorders.
- Basic understanding of shot composition, lighting, and exposure.
- Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro CC.
- Ability to craft engaging headlines and descriptions.
- Strong project management and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of video and content management systems.
- A willingness to take direction and improve your technical skills.
- Knowledge of Adobe After Effects or Photoshop is a plus.
Location & details#
- Location: South Williamsport, Pennsylvania.
- Term: Summer 2027 (May through August).
- Compensation: $18 per hour, paid bi-weekly.
