About the role#
The Extended School Program (ESP) at Glendale Elementary provides before and after school care for K-5th grade students. We are looking for student workers to help during weekday afternoons and on days when school is closed for holidays, teacher in-service, or inclement weather. We offer flexible scheduling to fit around your classes.
What you'll do#
- Tutor students and help with homework assignments.
- Lead guided activities for the children.
- Supervise students on the playground and in the gym.
- Assist with snack time.
What you'll need#
- You must be a current Lipscomb University student eligible for Federal Work Study.
- We look for people who are energetic, motivated, creative, and dependable.
- Experience working with young children is preferred but not required.
- We provide First Aid and CPR training.
Location & details#
- This role is located in Oak Hill, Nashville, Tennessee, about one mile from the Lipscomb campus.
- This is a part-time, on-site position.
- The pay starts at $15.00 per hour.
