About the role#
The BIM Intern supports the development of digital engineering deliverables for infrastructure projects. You will work alongside engineering and project teams to improve coordination, visualization, and project execution through Building Information Modeling and other digital technologies.
What you'll do#
- Assist in developing and maintaining 3D models for infrastructure projects.
- Support BIM coordination activities across various engineering disciplines.
- Create digital project deliverables and visualizations.
- Participate in model reviews and clash detection processes.
- Help project teams improve design coordination and efficiency.
- Assist with data management and digital engineering workflows.
- Contribute to innovation initiatives and digital transformation projects.
- Support the continuous improvement of BIM standards and procedures.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Engineering, Construction Management, Architectural Engineering, Digital Design, or a related field.
- Familiarity with BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, or AutoCAD is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- An interest in digital engineering technologies and innovation.
