About the role#
As a Senior Product Manager for Student Safety, you will own the entire product life cycle from initial concept through growth and maturity. You will define the strategy, vision, and roadmap for safety products designed to monitor student well-being and provide critical alerts to school staff. This role requires a balance of high-level strategic thinking and hands-on execution within a lean, agile environment. You will champion AI-forward thinking by integrating machine learning capabilities to create smarter, more effective tools for schools.
What you'll do#
- Drive product initiatives from inception to execution by collaborating with engineering, design, data, marketing, and sales teams.
- Define product requirements, refine priorities, and deliver high-quality solutions that address market trends and customer feedback.
- Communicate product vision and progress clearly to all stakeholders, including leadership and support teams.
- Partner with engineering and data teams to translate technical insights into scalable solutions.
- Take full ownership of outcomes, from individual user stories to large-scale strategic initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor's degree.
- At least 5 years of experience as a Product Manager or leader in a product capacity.
- Technical fluency, including the ability to discuss APIs, integrations, and on-device agents with engineering teams.
- Proven experience working effectively in a deadline-driven atmosphere.
- A deep interest in education and student safety.
- Ability to translate complex technical information for non-technical audiences.
