About the role#
As an Application Engineering Co-Op, you will join our engineering team to build augmented reality experiences. You will work with various hardware and software to help modernize manufacturing processes. This is a paid, full-time, on-site position based in Wixom, Michigan.
What you'll do#
- Build unique augmented reality experiences using LightGuide software.
- Configure and test hardware, including PCs, PLCs, and other technical equipment.
- Plan and design system structures using CAD software.
- Design and prototype mounting components with 3D printing.
- Install and service systems on-site at customer locations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program for Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Computer Engineering.
- Proficiency with CAD software, preferably SolidWorks.
- Experience with 3D printing.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.
