About the role#
This is an unpaid, full-time APRN student internship opportunity. The role is designed to provide clinical experience within a mental health practice setting under the supervision of licensed healthcare providers.
What you'll do#
- Provide patient care under the supervision of a licensed healthcare provider.
- Assist in the development of treatment plans for clients.
- Participate in team meetings and case discussions.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
- Provide support and education to patients and their families.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited APRN program.
- Academic background in Nursing, Psychology, or Public Health.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
- A commitment to providing high-quality mental health care.
- An understanding of the ethical and legal considerations involved in mental health practice.
