About the role#

This is an unpaid, full-time internship opportunity for current APRN students. This role is designed to provide practical experience in a behavioral health setting, supporting clinical staff and patient care initiatives.

What you'll do#

• Assist in providing mental health care to individuals and families.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of treatment plans.
• Engage with patients in a compassionate and professional manner.
• Support clinical staff with day-to-day operations.
• Maintain strict patient confidentiality and ensure compliance with all health regulations.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment as an APRN student.
• Academic background in Nursing, Psychology, or Public Health.
• A strong commitment to mental health care.
• Excellent communication skills and a high level of empathy.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a clinical team.
• Openness to learning and engaging with diverse perspectives.
