About the role#
The Summer 2027 Internship Program provides hands-on experience in international logistics, transportation planning, and global trade operations. You will work alongside supply chain professionals to support the movement of export shipments worldwide, gaining exposure to the complexities of global transportation and supply chain management.
What you'll do#
- Assist with planning and coordinating international export shipments.
- Use Excel-based tools to optimize container utilization and maximize efficiency.
- Support the development of weekly shipping plans by reviewing order volumes and priorities.
- Coordinate with warehouse operations to ensure orders are staged and shipped according to plan.
- Communicate with transportation providers and freight forwarders regarding schedules.
- Prepare and validate export documentation, including commercial invoices and packing lists.
- Monitor shipment status and resolve transportation or documentation issues.
- Analyze data related to transportation performance and export operations.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and team meetings.
- Complete a 12-week cross-functional case study project for presentation to senior leadership.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a full-time bachelor's degree program, with an expected graduation date in 2028 or 2029.
- Pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Operations Management, International Business, or a related field.
- Strong academic standing, with a preferred minimum GPA of 3.2.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Initiative, attention to detail, and organizational abilities.
- Interest in global trade, export management, and logistics concepts.

- Work Modality: Hybrid (requires on-site presence).
- Duration: Approximately 12 weeks, Summer 2027.
- Compensation: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour, plus eligibility for overtime.
