About the role#
Lexington Medical, Inc is hiring a Manufacturing Engineering Intern for the summer of 2027. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Bedford, Massachusetts. You will work directly with our manufacturing team to maintain production lines and improve our processes.
What you'll do#
- Address yield or quality concerns on an operational manufacturing line.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on custom production equipment.
- Assess current manufacturing processes to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
- Implement process changes by training staff, commissioning equipment, or performing line changes.
- Design and construct mechanical or electro-mechanical manufacturing systems.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited university as an undergraduate majoring in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a similar technical discipline.
- Ability to build and debug mechanical or electro-mechanical assemblies.
- Strong attention to detail.

- Location: Bedford, Massachusetts (on-site, 5 days per week).
- Term: June 2027 to August 2027.
