About the role#
We are looking for an experienced coach to help students applying for prestigious awards like the Rhodes, Fulbright, and Marshall scholarships. You will work directly with students to improve their application strategy and help them present their research and experience effectively. This is a contract role where you manage your own hours and host sessions virtually.
What you'll do#
- Guide students through the application process.
- Edit personal statements and essays.
- Help students frame their research and background.
- Coordinate letters of recommendation.
- Provide support with resume reviews and interview preparation.
- Assist students in navigating financial aid and scholarship options.
What you'll need#
- Firsthand experience with prestigious scholarship or fellowship applications.
- Prior experience in coaching or academic advising.
- A structured approach to helping students build their applications.
- Background in fields such as Political Science, Communications, Public Health, or Philosophy.
