About the role#
Leland is seeking an experienced coach to support students applying for prestigious scholarships and fellowships, such as the Rhodes, Fulbright, and Marshall programs. This contract position allows you to set your own hours and rates while working remotely. You will partner with our team to provide guidance and support to students throughout their application process.
What you'll do#
- Guide students through comprehensive application strategy.
- Edit essays and personal statements for clarity and impact.
- Help students frame their research and professional experience.
- Assist with resume reviews and interview preparation.
- Coordinate letters of recommendation.
- Support students in navigating financial aid and scholarship opportunities.
- Host coaching sessions virtually.
What you'll need#
- Firsthand experience with prestigious scholarship or fellowship applications.
- Prior experience in advising or coaching.
- A structured approach to helping students present their strongest applications.
- Academic background in fields such as Political Science, Communications, Public Health, or Philosophy.
