About the role#
This is a full-time Mechanical Engineer Intern or Co-op position based in Annapolis, Maryland. You will work alongside designers and engineers to develop mechanical and HVAC systems for building projects. The role focuses on hands-on training where you will learn to design infrastructure and implement energy-efficient measures. This position runs for the Winter 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Produce detailed layouts and equipment details for HVAC systems.
- Create one-line diagrams and schematics.
- Assist the design team in assembling organized sets of drawings.
- Help with data collection and field verification tasks.
- Collaborate with the team to develop all aspects of a project.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering, preferably as a sophomore or junior.
- Strong interest in building systems mechanical engineering.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to travel locally for job site inspections and field work.
- Experience with AutoCAD and REVIT is preferred.

- Modality: On-site, full-time (40 hours per week).
- Compensation: This is a paid position.
