About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027. You will work directly with mechanical engineers to support day-to-day design and project development. This role offers hands-on experience in building systems, equipment selection, and construction observation. You will receive mentorship to help you grow your technical skills while contributing to the team's ongoing projects.
What you'll do#
- Perform load calculations and select equipment for specific projects.
- Attend construction meetings and visit sites to observe and report on technical findings.
- Collaborate with the mechanical team, other engineering disciplines, and clients.
- Manage your time effectively to balance multiple project deadlines.
- Seek guidance from mentors to ensure high-quality design and project completion.
- Handle other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Mechanical Engineering or related degree program, with Junior or Senior status preferred.
- Ability to work well in a team and listen effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
- A commitment to maintaining high ethical standards and integrity.
- A desire to grow professionally in the engineering field.
