About the role#
As a Mechanical Engineer Intern, you will assist our team with daily mechanical design and project development tasks. You will work alongside experienced engineers to gain hands-on experience in system design, equipment selection, and construction observation. This role focuses on helping you develop your technical skills while contributing to the successful completion of our projects.
What you'll do#
- Perform load calculations and select equipment for specific projects.
- Attend construction meetings and visit sites to observe and report on technical findings.
- Collaborate with the mechanical team, other disciplines, and clients.
- Manage your time to balance multiple project deadlines.
- Seek mentorship to ensure high-quality design and project outcomes.
- Handle other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Mechanical Engineering or related degree program.
- Junior or Senior status is preferred.
- Ability to work well on a team and listen carefully.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
- A commitment to maintaining integrity and ethical standards.
- A desire to grow professionally in the engineering field.
