About the role#
This summer internship provides hands-on experience in electrical engineering. You will work under the supervision of a mentor to perform routine engineering assignments and gain exposure to building system design. You will collaborate with other engineers to support project progress and learn how to manage specific sections of a project.
What you'll do#
- Assist in engineering power, lighting, communications, and life safety systems for assigned projects.
- Attend occasional onsite visits for construction administration.
- Interact professionally with designers, technicians, clients, and construction teams.
- Manage your schedule to meet project deadlines while staying on budget.
- Seek mentorship and support to ensure successful project completion.
- Complete other duties as assigned by the electrical department.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with Junior or Senior status preferred.
- Ability to work well on a team and listen carefully.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
- Commitment to maintaining high integrity and ethical standards.
- A desire to produce quality work and grow professionally.

- Compensation: $23 per hour.
