About the role#
This is a summer internship for an Electrical Engineer. You will work under the supervision of a mentor to gain hands-on experience with engineering design and project management. You will collaborate with other engineers to move projects forward while learning how to communicate with clients and manage specific sections of a project.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the design of power, lighting, communications, and life safety systems for assigned projects.
- Visit construction sites as needed to support construction administration.
- Answer project questions while keeping tasks on schedule and within budget.
- Interact with designers, technicians, and clients in a professional manner.
- Manage your own schedule to balance multiple project deadlines.
- Seek guidance and mentorship to ensure high-quality design and project completion.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with preference for Junior or Senior status.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to work well on a team and listen effectively.
- A focus on producing quality work and growing professionally.
- Commitment to maintaining integrity and ethical standards.

- Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Status: Full-time and paid at $23 per hour.
- Work Modality: On-site.
