About the role#
The Quantitative Research team at Lazard Asset Management uses statistical and computational techniques to address investment challenges. This 10-week summer internship offers hands-on experience working directly with investment professionals. You will be paired with a mentor and gain exposure to market experience while working on projects that support investment decisions.
What you'll do#
- Develop and improve quantitative models to support investment decisions.
- Analyze large datasets to find actionable insights.
- Work with portfolio managers, researchers, and developers to solve investment problems.
- Present your findings and recommendations to team members and stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- You are a rising undergraduate junior graduating in 2029.
- You are majoring in mathematics, statistics, physics, electrical engineering, computer science, economics, or a related field.
- You have strong quantitative, analytical, and logical reasoning skills.
- You have experience with programming in Python for data analysis.
- You have a foundation in statistics and data analysis.
- You are familiar with Machine Learning algorithms, NLP techniques, and generative AI tools.
- You possess strong communication skills and can explain complex concepts clearly.
- You are authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
