About the role#
This 10-week summer internship offers students direct exposure to portfolio management within the Equity Advantage Team. You will work alongside investment professionals on real investment problems. The role is designed to build your technical, analytical, and interpersonal skills through hands-on experience and mentorship.
What you'll do#
- Monitor portfolio holdings, exposures, and risk metrics against benchmarks and mandates.
- Gather, clean, and analyze data for investment decision-making.
- Prepare portfolio performance attribution and commentary.
- Contribute to investment committee materials, client presentations, and various reports.
- Present your findings and recommendations to team members and stakeholders.
- Participate in team meetings, market discussions, and training sessions.
- Manage ad hoc research or special projects as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current status as a rising undergraduate junior graduating in 2029.
- A major in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Science.
- Authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills with a foundation in statistics.
- Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel, including experience with data-driven presentations.
- Familiarity with generative AI tools.
- Demonstrated passion for and understanding of financial markets.
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
- A strong work ethic and intellectual curiosity.

- Compensation: Pro-rated base annual salary of $90,000.
