About the role#
Larian Studios is seeking a Gameplay QA Intern to join the team in Quebec. This role focuses on ensuring the high quality of our role-playing games by testing builds, managing bug tracking, and supporting the production team. You will work within an international team, contributing to the development of our upcoming projects.
What you'll do#
- Test and help improve our games.
- Test new builds to ensure the stability of tools.
- Follow priorities set by the QA Lead to meet team-wide goals.
- Report bugs and validate bug corrections.
- Manage the bug tracking system and follow up on tickets throughout production phases.
- Serve as the first line of support for the production team regarding technical issues.
What you'll need#
- Currently completing or recently graduated from a program of study in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a relevant field.
- Understanding of the game production pipeline and tools.
- Ability to exercise good judgment when estimating the significance and consequences of bugs.
- A rigorous, methodical, autonomous, and resourceful approach to work.
- Great attention to detail and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Professional fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- Passion for video games.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada and possess all required documentation.
